We are so glad you are planning to worship

at St. Philip's Church.

We know how stressful it can be to visit a new

place. We hope that the information found on this page will help you and your family have a

stress-free, enjoyable

visit to our church.

step 1

The Children's Ministry Area is located on the ground floor of our Parish Hall located at 154 Church Street. You will find a Check-In Station just inside the entrance.

Parking is available in the parking lot at the corner of Church and Cumberland Streets. Across the street is a multilevel garage. Parking is free on Sunday mornings but you may need to show your worship bulletin to the attendant.

step 2

Once you have arrived at the Check-In Station, staff will assist you with the check-in process. We use the KidCheck system If you already have an account from another your church, you will be able to use it. If you do not have an account, you may learn how to create one here prior to arriving or a staff member will guide you through the simple process of creating one. Every child in the 4th Grade or under must be signed into our system each time you visit.

Please put the nametag on your child and keep the Guardian receipt for pick up. You  may walk your child(ren) to the Nursery down the hall to Room 108 or to Children's Church in Room 109. Be sure to let staff know if there are any issues with your child that we should know about. Staff will contact you via text if your child is uncomfortable. We invite you to come sit with your child for a bit or you may take them with you.

step 3

For children who are attending Children's Church, the program ends at 11:20 and we will walk the children to the church. Please meet us in the back of the church during the Announcements to pick up your child. Children in this age group will stay with you through the remainder of the service. Children's Worship Bulletins are available on the tables in the Narthex as well as a book to help children better understand the service entitled Alleluia! Amen.

Children in the Nursery are picked up by parents at various times throughout the morning depending on preference. Some children are picked up in order to join their family for Holy Communion. Others remain until the service is over. Please note that you must pick up your child within 10 minutes of the end of the service.
